Best Things About the Resort:
This was a quiet, restful resort that was off the beaten path, yet minutes from the beach.

Resort Experience:
The resort was large. We had a wonderful three-bedroom with three full baths and half-bath unit. It was truly home away from home. You felt that you were in the mountains and at the beach at the same time. There are a lot of steps, and for older folks that could be a problem, but the staff was very nice. The pool was small but clean and nice.

Best Things About the Resort:
The pools, especially the indoor pool offering aqua classes daily

Resort Experience:
It is definitely away from the hectic "Grand Strand". A car is necessary. Just driving into the resort to your unit is about half a mile. The resort is great. It's a very large complex with several different timeshare resorts. There is a golf course for those who enjoy golf. The unit was quite nice--nicely decorated and very well-equipped, with a terrific Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The one-bedroom had two double beds and a TV. It was a very enjoyable unit in which to spend a week.

BEACH!

Best Things About the Resort:
Luxurious!

Resort Experience:
Our unit was a lock-out unit with two bedrooms and a loft. They were SPOTLESS! The pools were beautiful! The weather in May was perfect, with warm temperatures and sunshine every day! The beach was just close enough. There is plenty to do both during the day and at night.

Best Things Nearby:
The resort is beautifully landscaped and offers a lot to do right on the premises. My young children enjoyed the playground and kiddie pools. The guys in our group were able to golf just about every day without having to travel very far.

Best Things About the Resort:
Our unit looked out onto the 18th green on the Deertrack golf course across a pond with a fountain. The unit was well maintained and the kitchen was well-stocked. One bedroom had a king sized bed and Jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom had two double beds and there was a pull out sofa in the living room. There are quite a few activities to partake in at the resort - crafts for the kids and fitness activities for the adults. In Surfside, there are a variety of restaurants & shops but if you are serious about shopping you have to drive about 20 minutes to go to the outlet stores.

Resort Experience:
Overall, we were pleased with the accommodations and the area in general. If we had one complaint, it would be the lack of storage/closet space in the unit. We had four adults and two kids in a two-bedroom unit and space was a little tight.

There are a lot of seafood restaurants and we went to a few. A good idea is to check the coupon books (that are everywhere) because most places offer discounts. Many of them require you to be seated before 6pm.

Best Things Nearby:
The golf course, of course! Also, the beach is just a few blocks away.

Best Things About the Resort:
Even though there were a lot of guests there, it wasn't overcrowded. It never seemed that way. The unit was perfect for the family. We really enjoyed it!

Resort Experience:
It was nice to just sit out on the balcony and watch the golfers and see all the turtles in the pond. Excellent for relaxation.
