Best Things Nearby:
Myrtle Beach has loads to do for families: mini golf, amusement parks, Dixie Stampede, and the BEACH!

Best Things About the Resort:
The resort is in a perfect location, close to the action but far from the crowds. It is clean and directly on the beach.

Resort Experience:
We liked this resort so much that my brother rented a unit here the next year.

Resort: Located in North Myrtle Beach, the resort is away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the Myrtle Beach Area. The buildings are in a U shape, with parking in between the two wings.
Between the hotel and the beach is a nice recreation area with two pools, four hot tubs, a kiddy pool, picnic benches, gas grills, a playground area, and plenty of lounge and patio chairs.

Amenities: Across the street were tennis and basketball courts. The north wing houses an indoor pool and hot tub, ping-pong table in a separate area and the laundry facility (coin operated). On the third floor is an exercise room with treadmill, cardio bike, and a four- station weight machine. Also on the third floor is the activities center.

Units: The units are clean, with most oceanfront or ocean view with private patios. Our unit was a 2-bed/2-bath oceanfront room on the first floor with king bed and two twins. We had very little view with shrubbery and play equipment outside our windows. If you are in rooms 01 to 26, you have an oceanfront room. Anything higher than that and you are in the south wing with a side view of the ocean. Patios do not allow for access to the pool. You have to walk out your front door, down the hall and around the building. They also have a penthouse three-bedroom unit with full ocean views on the top floor.

There are activities for the whole family every day. The beach is spectacular. If you've looked into other resorts in this area, you will know that this is much better than the rest!

Best Things Nearby:
There are a multitude of attractions, restaurants, cultural exhibits, shopping areas, and other points of interests in the Myrtle Beach area. We particularly enjoying shopping and walking at Barefoot Landing and Broadway on the Beach. Both areas have a large shopping areas laid out as New England fishing villages. Fine dining and theater attractions were available at both. The area also hosts over 1,500 restaurant ranging from casual family dining to fine dining. Virtually any cuisine and and price range is available in this area. If one can’t fine a dining experience to suit their fancy, then they didn’t really look.

Best Things About the Resort:
The best thing about this timeshare are the location. It is oceanfront and located in North Myrtle Beach. The location was out of the traffic congestion areas, yet still within a convenient distant of all the major attractions and areas of interest.

Resort Experience:
Pros: If you are lucky enough to get one of the oceanside units, the view is fantastic

Pros

: If you are lucky enough to get one of the oceanside units, the view is fantastic. The outdoor pools and hot tub areas are beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. There are numerous carts available to facilitate loading and unloading; this was a service that I have rarely seen at other timeshares.

Cons

: When I first entered the unit I was a little disappointed; for a two bedroom unit it was quite a bit smaller than the two bedroom unit that I own. The living room, dining room and kitchen are essentially co-located within a single area, giving me the perception of an efficiency apartment rather than a luxury timeshare unit. Although the unit sleeps six, there are only enough seating space in the living room and dining area for four people.

Bedrooms:

The master bedroom are more than adequate. It had queen size bed, television, walk-in closet, and a separate bath with a shower. The second bedroom also had a queen size bed and a separate bath with a tub/shower combination. There room was smaller than the master bedroom which resulted in limited walking space around the bed.

Other Comments:

There are only about eight units in the building that do not have an outside balcony. Unfortunately, I was given one of these units. Considering the location, quality, and amenities associated with the unit that I had traded, I would have expected to trade comparable to the amenities that I had sacrificed. I'm not sure that this type of information is passed by RCI personnel when making a trade, so I am reluctant to place blame with the timeshare management. In addition, parking space is at a premium. There does not appear to be enough parking spaces to facilitate the number of units. There is a public parking area across the street which alleviates that problem, but I would think that a quality timeshare business would have enough parking to handle their customer requirements.

Best Things Nearby:
Lots of attractions and outlet shopping.

Best Things About the Resort:
This resort is in North Myrtle Beach, which is a little quieter and family oriented, but close by all the attractions that Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand have to offer. The timeshare has many activities, two pools, three hot tubs and a gorgeous palm-lined beach. There is a new kids club and lots of activities for teenagers as well.

Resort Experience:
There are so many things to do in the area that you won't be able to do them all in a week. You can fish, swim, body surf, surf, play beach volleyball, ride jet skis, kayak, go on a banana boat, and bicycle all within a two minute walk on the beach. The resort is right on the ocean and is beautiful.

Ocean/beach.

Resort Experience:
It was on the ocean. We could watch the sun come up and the sun go down from our balcony. It was a quiet condo. They had warned us that there might be noise from remodeling they were doing, but we were not disturbed. It would have been nice to have two televisions - one was in the living room but we needed one in the bedroom. The ceilings were a little low. The condo was small but adequate. The beach was not crowded and the roads were easy to drive because we were there during the slow season. We enjoyed going to the local shows. There is a lot to see and do in this area.

Looks out into the ocean.

Resort Experience:
We watched the sunrise and the sunset from our balcony--an awesome sight. The building was only 6 stories high. We use the elevator for trips up and used the steps for the trips downstairs. The building was being renovated so parking was limited.
