Litchfield By The Sea

Best Things Nearby:
The beach of the Grand Strand. Numerous golf courses. Many fine sea food retaurants.

Best Things About the Resort:
Ocean front/view condos. Swimming pools for each condo complex. Best workout room any timeshare place we have been. Nice restaurant with excellent ocean setting.

Resort Experience:
Litchfield is a large complex that accomodates time share traders, and has many private ownerships units also. There are three main draws here. 1) The ocean and beaches are as good as one can find anywhere.
2) The golfing in the area, by quality and quantity, is the best anywhere. Litchfield offers three courses on-site, one of which is very highly rated for women.
3)On-site activities, which are obviously more varied in the warmer months. This includes seven tennis courts, lit and in good condition, a great work-out room, one very nice racquetball court, and large outdoor swimming pools and one indoor pool.

Many activities abound outside the resort, from ocean fishing to shopping to scenic drives. Grocery shopping is conveniently just across the road.

Litchfield By the Sea (Heron March Condos)

Litchfield By the Sea (Heron March Condos)

The Litchfield Resort has every type accommodation including upscale homes, condos, high rise hotels and beachfront rooms. Every option had its merits, but we stayed in the condos (Heron Marsh). The condo had three bedrooms and lots of room including a large kitchen and dining room. It was great to be able to cook and relax after a long day on the beach and the golf course. There was a very large porch overlooking the marsh that was great for the evenings. Also, the bedrooms were very spacious and three couples stayed here very comfortably. As for location, it was only about a five minute walk from the beach and a ten minute walk from the main entrance to the Litchfield Resort (where you could go to the fitness center or spa).

My only complaint, there were ants everywhere. They didn''t sting but they were a little distracting and disconcerting at times.

This is the best hotel in Fez, at the edge of the medina. It was an old palace and was renovated several years ago. Each room has a terrace overlooking the mdeina...this view, especially at nite is worth a million bucks. Has swimming pool and every amenity of a 5 star grand luxe.
