Best Things Nearby:
Wonderful on-site pools and restaurants. But you need to take cab/shuttle everywhere else.

Best Things About the Resort:
Luxury, outstanding views, incredible staff, wonderful food.

Resort Experience:
The large hotel building is striking, but the timeshare units are incredible. Huge bedrooms, enormous bathrooms, incredible weather all year. The on-site food is excellent and the entire facility is 5-star.

Best Things Nearby:
Drive towards Cabo and watch on the left. There is a restaurant that overlooks the ocean that you can get a lobster tail with all the fixings for US$10.99.

Best Things About the Resort:
You don't have to leave the resort. There is everything to to there. Excellent restaurants. You don't walk anywhere -- you call for a cart and they will pick you up at your door and take you whereever you want to go at the resort.

Resort Experience:
Check the weather before you go. It's HOT in September, so be ready to sweat a lot. The undertow at the resort was too severe to go into the ocean.

Best Things Nearby:
The Westin is by itself so it affords an exclusivity. The best things around are the property itself, it's infinity pool and a neighboring golf course.

Best Things About the Resort:
The best things about the timeshare is the view out your living room window. All units have ocean views and at this resort, the ocean is rough and the sound of the waves melodious as they hit the rocks. Westin has used beautiful colors in decorating each unit and it is homey and vibrant.

Resort Experience:
Just driving up to this property is a treat! The architecture of the hotel will take your breath away. It is a sandstone color half circle that blends with the mountainous surroundings it was built to compliment.

The condos are built on a hill with different units sporting the bright colors of the rainbow while also carrying the sandstone color through. If you get a top unit, don't despair as you can get a jitney to take you back and forth to your unit. They also have room service as well. The units are quite complete and beautifully furnished.

As a guest, you have rights to using the pool and all the hotel facilities. The pool is gorgeous! It is an infinity pool and as you stand in it, you would swear if you walk a step or two furthur, you would go directly into the ocean. The staff is helpful and courteous.

This resort does have a major drawback. It is miles to Cabo San Lucas and the taxis cost a fortune to get you there and back. You can take the bus but it is a mile just to get to the road from the resort where you will take it. Consequently, most of your time is spent at the Westin. That is not a bad thing...however, it is quite expensive for food there in the restaurants.
