Club Royal Solaris - San Jose del Cabo

Our suite was poolside with an Oceanside view. The suite was simply decorated, but very comfortable. There is lots of tile because of the Mexican heat, and the air-conditioning was superb. The closet was large and the balcony provided a very nice view of the courtyard/pool area, with a side view of the Sea of Cortez. We were on the third floor and there was no noise from the pool when we were in our suite. The shower was large and tiled.

The food at the resort restaurants was marginal. For the convenience of all-inclusive, it was worth the price. The staff was wonderful and always helpful. Tipping will get you better service and drinks. Just a couple dollars here and there. We enjoyed all of the staff there and were friendly with all. We were interested in their lives and they were happy to share. We couldn't have been treated better due to our RCI membership and had a free snorkeling tour, shows and dinners included because of it. Walking to town was very safe and the townfolk were very friendly.

Accommodation is a studio with two double beds and an European style hide-a-bed. Private balcony facing the ocean and overlooking the pool. Fairly new resort/hotel, all tile construction. Service is great.

This all-inclusive resort is great for a family vacation as there are lots of activities for everyone. (If you are single, I think you will be happier in Cabo San Lucas!) Guest rooms, activities, physical plant of the resort met our expectations.

It was the first time we did the "all-inclusive" thing, and I'm not sure we will do it again. Not so much that the food was horrible -- it wasn't (although it does get repetitive}. It's just that we missed the fun of exploring different restaurants in the area. The staff at this resort are particularly friendly and helpful.

The rooms are very comfortable, with every room having a balcony and a view of the sea or the pool. The service was exemplary. Each room has a stocked mini fridge with soda, beer, and water. There is also the opportunity to have breakfast in your room. Everything is just great!
