Perfect location

Ocean Key Resort is in a great location to enjoy all that Duval St. has to offer. The only drawback is that, although it is unique to be a stone's throw away from the cruise ships' pier, these same cruise ships are so tall that they block the mid-afternoon sun from the hotel's outdoor pool, and they also block the famous sunset at day's end. Tourists are flocked onto the pier to view the spectacular sight, yet must crowd to the southernmost tip of the pier in order to see the sunset past the ships. Mallory Square is the area where the ships dock. Their tourism must suffer a bit when the ships are docked and blocking the incredible sunset.
As far as the hotel itself, the service was excellent. The rooms were very nice, our jr. suite was HUGE. The only complaint I would have was even though the room appreared to be recently updated, the curtains and room-darkening drapes were tattered, worn, and dirty. It was very noticeable since you had to open/close them in order to access the great balcony overlooking Mallory Square.

great hotel!! would stay again!! just about everything is with walking distance.
scooter rental is just out the front door. jet ski's, boat rides,& boat tours are right out
the front door also. the staff at the hotel aim to make your stay enjoyable.

The Ocean Key is a great hotel, the staff is friendliness, the restaurants are very nice, the location is perfect. We didn't have a amazing trip like to Ocean Key in Key West. We had a good time during all our vacation.

Great hotel in a great location! The rooms were even nicer than I expected! Had a nice view of Mallory Sq. and the Ocean. Room was huge! Its expensive, but at least here you know that you're going to get a great room to base your vacation from. We'll definitely stay here again when we go back to KW.

Upon arrival we were greeted right away, and were made to feel welcome. We were asked if we wanted a tour of the hotel but we were tired from travel so we were guided to our room. When we got in we were pleasantly surprised by the size and beauty of the suite and the view. Although in the heat of a busy place "Duval street" the room was verry quiet, and the location can not be beat! I think the Ocean Key needs better pictures on their web site because they do not show the beauty of this place. Top notch, I would highly recomend.
