I have stayed at a number of hotels in Bangalore and liked this one best. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had a room with a king size bed overlooking the courtyard. The bathroom had nice sensor lights that came on automatically so you don't have to search for a light in the middle of the night. The amenities were what I thought made this room extra nice. There was a shoe shine rack, suit rack, a desk, an arm chair with an ottoman. Many complimentary bottles of Aquafina. Plenty of bath soap, shampoo, nice bathrobes, slippers, vanity kit, and a list of other items you can get complimentary. We ordered room service twice and were very pleased both times. The service was very prompt and the quality was good. My husband liked having French Toast which wasn't available at the Oberoi where we stayed previously. Also, the quietness of the rooms were fantastic. I can't stress this enough since honking is something you hear as soon as you get out of the airport in Bangalore and many of the hotels we stayed at were quite noisy (including the Oberoi). The breakfast buffet is the best one of the 5 star hotels. It has items from India, China, Japan, Europe, The US and organic items. Some rooms come with a complimentary 30 minutes of internet usage at the business center. It's nice if you've got one since it costs around $15/per half hour to use them at all of the 5 star hotels. Other comments: Pool is in an area of the hotel where you can be observed from the Afghan restaurant and the other restaurants. It's not surrounded by trees and more secluded like the Oberoi. The fitness center is equal to the other 5 stars.

I am a global traveller and having stayed in some of the worlds best hotels this stay of mine has truley been an experience. The staff of this hotel were absoulutely professional and at the same time very courteous.I was made to feel just at home.All my needs were taken care of before I could ask for it.This is what I feel can be compared to the best luxury hotels of the world.
