What happened to service?

The hotel missed 2 wake up calls and my car was damaged in their parking lot. The hotel is next to a grocery store and a shopping cart rammed into my car. The hotel would not pay for the damages. I would not stay in this hotel again if they paid for my room. I gave them every opportunity to make it up to me. They dropped the ball over and over. I have spent over 12 room nights at that hotel and they would not help me out at all.

I am not cool enough for this hotel

This hotel is not for families, older people or the uncool. It is for young hip 20 somethings or men going through a mid life crisis. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. Plasma tv nice but in a wierd location. Decor was way to out there for my taste. Did not use pool, business lounge or dining. Valet Parking was $22 and self parking not allowed. A little bit pricey for me. Would not stay here again.

Could be better

Not a bad choice but I think it could have been better for the price. I think if someone spends over $100 a night that they would at least get a dresser, microwave, and something to store drinks in. Other than that the hotel is very nice, especially for a younger crowd. The hotel lobby is more like a lounge. For someone who doesn't care about cost it's great.

Nice hotel and nice location

The hotel is nice with very cool layout. The hotel is very convienent to Santa Cruz, Venice Beach and Hollywood if I-405 is clear. It has a Ralph supermarket next to it so its nice to get water, milk...etc. It near to LAX airport. Noise from the airplanes were not that prominent but heard the taking off noise on the 1st night around midnight but did not hear anything on the 2nd night. The walls of the rooms are thin and you can hear the neighbours and you can hear it too when you are walking down the corridor. The corridors are a little dark. The room service sucks though. I wanted extra towels but no one picked up the phone. Overall, its a nice hotel to stay.

Could not have asked for a better hotel for the money. The service was outstanding.
