A unique Paradise

We made a 14-day trip to Jamaica and found this beautiful place on the internet. We mailed to the owner Charlie and there were no problems for booking and getting all informations we needed. Chris picked us up at the airport, brought us to HSH and drove us where ever we wanted. He showed us his country, not the typical tourist attractions. In HSH we stayed at the penthouse. It has a breathtaking view. The most time we ate at Terry`s restaurant nearby. She cooked really good and typical Jamaican food. The whole staff was friendly, kindly and helpfully. We felt at home. So we can recommend this home to everyone, who would like to stay in Jamaica not on a sandbeach, without any noise, without any hustler but with a lot of charme and character.

I visit Negril at least 2-3 times a year, and this is the only place for me! My most recent stay was April 26, 2008 through May 03, 2008. I've stayed at one of the hotels on the beach, but I love it at HSH! It is an intimate place (it only has 14 rooms) on the west end or as the locals say, the cliffs. The vibes here are truly laid back and serene. The property is beautiful as is the view of the ocean. I make it a point to return from my daily outing just to see the sunset that has made the West End famous. I'm usually there during the off season, so their on site restaurant is closed. Not to worry, there are plenty of good places to eat within walking distance . The staff is outgoing and friendly, the rooms are no frills but clean. I am a woman who travels alone & the staff looks out for my safety which is important to me. I 've already booked my favorite room for my return in October, 2008. Charlie, keep the light on for me, I'm coming home!

I have been staying at HSH since December, 2006 . I just returned from my most recent visit May 3, 2008. This place really is the best kept secret in Negril. I visit Negril at least 2-3 times a year & would not dream of going anywhere but Home Sweet Home! The property is amazing & the staff is outgoing & friendly. I am a woman who travels alone & the staff looks out for my safety which is important to me. I usually stay during the off season when the hotel is not fully staffed. That's OK by me because I am there for a true island experience that cannot be had at the beach front resorts. HSH may not be a luxury resort but the rooms are clean & cozy. This place is intimate; it only has 14 rooms! I come here to decompress & this place delivers! Within walking distance there are many places to grab inexspensive good meals, lime with the locals & shop for souveniors. C, leave the light on for me because I'll be back in October!

My husband and I had an incredible time at Home Sweet Home Resorts in Negril, Jamaica. It was a quiet and peaceful place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful weather everyday.
The staff was very helpful and fun to be around.
I received a Great Massage on the cliffs, with the sounds of the ocean and a warm jamaican breeze. It was amazing!
There is much to do and many fun things to see.
I would recommend it !!!!

X is the owner of this place and, let me tell you, he is a wonderful person and takes great care of you. He recommended all sort of sidetrips and chatted with us every day to be sure we were having a nice time. The rooms are great. Each one has a gorgeous view of the ocean. You can't go wrong staying here.
