I had been worried after reading the reviews-but for naught--The hotel is older, but quaint, and clean. The room was large and the employees were the greatest--Loved the island, loved the people,
Not so inexpensive after all!

Even if you find a good price- expect to get charged an additional $15 per person per night for maid fees, electricity, and bell hop fees. Suddenly- its not such a good deal. Lots of broken stuff. Very SLOW staff.

The hotel staff was very unfriendly... but if your looking for a cheap place in a great location, stay here. You won't get much help from the staff though.
Amazing Beachfront/Excellent value

The Nassau Beach Hotel had the best rates for beachfront hotels which is what attracted us. I found it to be an amazing value. There was a hot water issue the first night which was immediately rectified. There was a problem with phone calls charged to the room, so i would advise looking into any issues BEFORE you are rushing off to the airport!
