Don't be scared by bad reviews!

This place is way worth the money. The rooms were clean and smelled fine. Only complaint was our hairdryer was broken and did not get fixed, but all our other requests were addressed right away. If you are budget minded and don't plan on spending a lot of time in your room while here, then this is a great place to stay, otherwise stay at Atlantis. For 25,000.00 a night you get a 24/7 personal butler to take care of your every need! (4 night stay minimum requirement!)
Oh My Goodness Huge Cockroaches!

Checked in room around 10pm with my 2 year old daughter. The lobby looks wonderful however, the room was very old and in need of major renovations. The linens on the bed had an old blood stain and when I went to the bathroom huge cockroaches can running from behind the toilet!! After nearly passing out I washed my hands in the sink and the whole floor became soaked with water. I immediately checked out and the Manager set me up with free accomodations next door. I wouldn't let my dog sleep at Nassau Beach Hotel.
Needs MAJOR RENOVATIONS!

There were HUGE cockroaches coming from behind the toilet running. The sheets on the bed had old blood stains. Water overflowed all over the floor once I brushed my teeth. The room was very old and the carpet was nasty. I wouldn't let my dog sleep in that hotel.

after reading some of the previous comments about this hotel I was concerned before we arrived but found none of the problems that others seemed to encounter the hotel is very old but our room was clean and service from the front desk was excellent. Just remember the bahamians are very laid back and if you try to do so yourself and youll have a great trip!

Any package you choose like a Majestic Lady Dinner Cruise, Robinson Crusoe Trip, they have a photographer take pictures. The musicians on the Robinson Crusoe cruise try to sell their C.D.'s. When it is trip is over your pictures are placed on a table and everyone can see your pictures - which are for sale $40.00. Tour guides ask for "donations". The Hotel was clean, we had no air condition, water or T.V. for several hours one day because of a thunderstorm. We when to the beach to cool off. The fuel odors from the boats near the beach is terrible!
