My daughter and I stayed at the Wyndham from 4/20-4/24/09. I took here there for a graduation from high school present. I was a little leery of going out of the country alone, 2 females traveling alone?...But I must say there was never a single moment that we felt unsafe or uncomfortable. The hotel room we were given was an upgrade from what we actually paid for. The ocean view was beautiful!!! My daughter and I both enjoyed lounging by the pool and at the beach area. We also enjoyed the events the hotel had going on during our visit. The staff was wonderfully friendly and we never asked for anything that wasn't given to us freely and quickly. The only downside I can mention, is that the drink and snack machines were not working. They were all out of order during our entire trip. I have already made plans with my husband to return to Nassau in the near future, and we'll definitely be staying at the Wyndham.

Great view from balcony, great poolside enteretainment, great poolside service, suntan or sunblock provided at the pool by hotel, room decor nice but hotel lobby and hallways could use a little updating, easy transportation $1.00 bus to restaurants, straw market and other places. Beach steps away from pool, shops and restaurants on the premises a tiny bit pricey but expected, one unexpected surprise was the $15.00 per person each day tax charge. No major complaints

My wife & I stayed at WYNDHAM during the Valentine Day Weekend. Based on some of the reviews we had read, we expected the worse. However, we were surprised to receive the best services in all areas. It appears that the new management is committed to providing outstanding services to visitors and tourists. The rooms were clean, maid services timely, excellent decor, friendly atmosphere, great amenities, tasty food, etc. From the receptionists to the maids, we experienced the services of those who've perfected the science of attending to tourist. We hardly left before planning our next trip to the Bahamas and opting to stay again at WYNDHAM. This time, it would be with our children and we expect nothing but the best. Although expensive, the services is worth your money. Because you get the exceptional services you are paying for.
I'll recommend WYNDHAM to couples and families with children. The Hotel adds to your Bahamian experience.
Worst Hotel Ever

My frist trip to the bahamas was very dissapointing. Lets start with saytng this is a very old hotel , needs a lot of work, food is INCREDIBLY overpriced., you are talking $5 dollars for a can of orange juice. There was a leak in the ceiling of pur room, water all over the carpet,. maid service was not done on 2 days, and there wasnt water in the hotel on the last night we stayed.. Staff was very nast y and always had an attitude. Beach was OK, the Sheraton has a lot more beach. Restaurants, lets just say you will get better food at your local restaurants near your home, not impressed at all. And the worst part of this place was the CASINO, I warn you, DO NOT GAMBLE in this place, they are ridiculous , they change the rules on the tables all of sudden, and if if a table is doing good, they will close it on you , lost a lot of money, hopefully with this donation I made, they can improve the facilities a ilittle. I would not reccomend this hotel at all, go to some other place in the Bahamas, Atlantis, or somewhere else in the CAribbean, ex: Punta Cana,.
