I Would Rather Have Slept in My Car

Maybe would have been worth it for $*a night. A few dead cockroaches - okay not a huge deal for me. Stains all over the carpet...mmm alright not great but okay..... a shower that I wouldn't wash my dog in.... I think that was overkill. The sheets and beds were clean. Honestly though - if I have to squat to go the bathroom in a hotel room - it really isn't worth paying anything for. The entire hotel was FILTHY - dirt and stuff all over. Just stay elsewhere. The hotel staff was nice and all but really - I would have rather slept in my car.
A little money spent on upgrades would help a lot!

Shower curtain was covered with mildew. Grout in shower was likewise. Bedspread had large hole in it. TV remote was missing back cover. Wallpaper was coming off. Needless to say these are small things but taken together they really show that there is little attention to detail here. A little money--perhaps even charged to the guests who were responsible for some of these--would have gone a long way. Remembering that this was not a high-priced hotel, be ready to get what you pay for. Breakfast was minimal as well.
Poor Quality Towels

Towels were not soft, felt like sandpaper...awful. Looked like room had been remodeled recently, but there was water damage and wallpaper pufing off of the wall.
filthy toilet

The room was not clean and the toilet was disgustingly filthy, even by public-restroom standards.
We were happy.
