very nice off the beaten path location, but still close to everything downtown. staff was wonderful, the service started at the door.. the valet and desk staff were very helpful and courteous. room was very clean, and well adorned. very tranquil setting from start to finish. we would go back in a heartbeat. doku13 restaurant downstairs also very nice.

This hotel was so unique. very enjoyable and like nothing I have ever experienced. very nice bed, linens were exceptional. the hardwood floors, the kitchen and bar just made it. I loved the location just walk to everything. I was attending a conference at the Convention Center and was an easy walk.
Tiny Quarters

The main complaint is that the room is tiny, barely larger than a bed with a desk too narrow to do any work; many items missing at breakfast; staff vary from friendly to cold; I would not stay here over other hotels in similar price range and style; I did not find the tiny room felt very zen.

The Cosmopolitan Toronto is a tranquil respite. Our upgraded room was quiet, spacious, contemporary and very well-maintained by our excellent housekeeper. We had family staying close by in a large well-known hotel and each time we went to visit them I noticed how overwhelming that place was- and then how calming our space was when we returned. Especially for a longer visit, the full kitchen, washer/dryer and seperate livingroom and bedroom made our stay quite pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
"Lousy service, lots of noise"

I have chemicals sensitivities and asked that no cleaning chemicals be used in my room. No problem, they assured me, but forgot to mention it to housekeeping. Better still, after several reminders of the chemical issue, I came back one afternoon to find my room smelling of the most potent oil paint odors and a man immediately outside my room painting a door in the hallway. The smell was incredible, like an oil spill. When I called down to ask them to stop right away, the hotel staff member said, "I'll put in that request". I?d never stay there again.
