Disappointed; don't be fooled by the pictures. This hotel is right next to the airport at the end of the strip. Traffic is bad. Rooms were old and a bit worn. Patio smelled and breeze blocked by a wall. We had an efficiency. We smelled the neighbors food in our bathroom. Elevator old and slow. Pool was packed; very little deck to lay out on. We never saw any staff.
worst ever!!!

My husband and I traveled to Myrtle Beach and stayed at the Crown Reef. When we got to our room, there was a pigeon family that had nested outside the door (eggs in nest and all) There was pigeon poo all over the place. The staff gave us another room. When we got to that room I was shocked at how dirty it was. Stained carpets, broken curtain rods, cigarette burn marks, dirt on the tile, not to mention the mildew stench. Needless to say we checked out immediately. We ended up finding a much nicer place in N. Myrtle for the same price.

The hotel is older as most along the beach are. Elevators were broken alot of the time. Staff was very friendly. View was great and it is a great family place. Would stay again.

Loved the FREE broadband wireless internet access. Elevators were scary. I was frustrated that I had to walk across the street to get back and forth from thier convention center.
