Great stay

Spent 3 nights and have nothing to report but positive experiences. We called to request a late late (2a) checkin and that went smoothly. Person at the desk at that hour was still very friendly. Room was clean and new. Wi-Fi connection the room worked perfectly with our iPod touches. Bathroom was clean, plenty of towels, and the room came with a microwave and a mini fridge. Cookies were available in the lobby 24/7. We had breakfast only one of the mornings there but left satisfied: hot and cold cereals, belgian waffle maker, sausages, pastries, bagels, hash browns. Plenty of juice and coffee and milk. Set up the trip thru travel website and it was flawless. This location is just 2 highway exits from the airport. Plenty of eating establishments on J Clyde and then up two exits north. We'd go back again.

We found the hotel to be very clean and up to date. All the employees were extremely friendly and the breakfast was very, very good. We were treated with a lot of kindess and friendship from the moment we checked in until we left. We are happy to recommend this hotel to any traveler!

Stayed here two nights visiting my son in Newport News. Hotel was handy to the interstate, yet far enough away to avoid any road noise. Hotel is clean, accomodations were roomy and very comfortable, decor tasteful. Free self-serve breakfast was pretty standard as most hotels go ... eggs, bacon, sausage, juice, coffee, cereal, waffles, etc., but hot food was hot, cold food cold, as it should be. Breakfast room was kept neat and featured a large screen TV. Staff was very friendly. The room rate for this stay was outstanding. The only possible thing to complain about was aircraft noise one morning as a couple of Air Force fighter jets left Langley. Parking lot was clean and area seemed safe. I would definitely stay again, and my son will recommend this hotel for any other visitors.

Very Nice Hotel

7-Eleven within walking distance as well as restaurants. POS-Nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. NEG-pool could've been a little warmer. Gym consists of 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, and 1 recumbant bike. POS-The breakfast staff was very helpful and attentive NEG-They should tell you that breakfast changes daily. The first day was a wonderful full hot breakfast and the next day was biscuits and gravy. POS- The room itself and bathroom were very clean. Comfortable bed. NEG-My husband says the shower water pressure was a little weak. We had a non-smoking room however the smoking rooms were down the hall from us and the smell was all throughout the hallway. My biggest complaint is that we stayed during a baseball tournament so there were 2 baseball teams of boys ages 8-12 and their parents staying there. The boys ran the hallways sometimes during the day and night with no supervision. They were very loud. The moral...CHECK WITH THE HOTEL IF A LARGE GROUP WILL BE THERE DURING YOUR STAY! Overall...nice hotel and good value. Would stay there again.

Very nice property. Nice rooms, clean, large with nice amenities. Staff was helpful and friendly. Location could be closer to attractions but it was close enough to the major interstate for easy access.
