good location.staff were well trained and friendly. nice & clean rooms. breakfast was good but was the same for 5 days except for some breads..good enough room size but our bed was sagging, and we're not even heavy weights. walls are NOT soundproof! i mean, not at all. it's hard to get a much needed night rest even if we did not have loud, next door neighbor. for the price, iy was not too bad.

Can't wait to go back.

The hotel staff is fantastic. They were extremely friendly and helpful, took care of things quickly and efficiently, and gave excellent information to help us find our way in Rome. They act and look very professional, their English is perfect, and they didn't seem offended that our Italian was barely that of a one year old child. Nova Domus is conveniently located, in our opinion, being very close to a Metro station, the best way to get around in Rome, and a (relatively) easy walk to the Vatican and lots of shopping, food, etc. Most importantly, it is only two or three blocks from Tazza D'oro, the coffee shop that Starbucks should emulate, and the front door is about 30 steps from a really good Japanese/Chinese restaurant on the opposite corner. The hotel restaurant is first class, food is excellent, and the staff well trained, friendly, and professional. The free breakfast was always great, and is a big time saver when you want to just get out and about quickly. The only negative might be that the room was so small we had to step out in the hall to change our minds, and I've seen bigger showers in an RV. Unless you want to hose down the entire bathroom, which we did a couple of times, it is necessary to take Navy showers; because the curtain is very flimsy, and the hose (yes it's a hose fixture) is on the back wall instead of the side wall, where it belongs, and points at the flimsy curtain, thus blowing it open; unless you hold the hose in your hand, in which case, when it slips out of your hand it goes wild and water goes all over the bathroom. Sorry, but a good shower is important to us.
