Our trip to Florence was beautiful and what made even better was our stay at Porta Faenza Hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is within a confortable walking distance from every historical and cultural site. When I return to Florence, I will stay at the Porta Faenza Hotel again.
Pleasant Hotel

This hotel is very clean; bathroom pristine and all amenities; our room was smallish but very comfortable; elevator; very helpful staff; breakfast is wonderful & lasts till late dinner. Very convenient location for all sights & train station w/ some good trattorias very closeby.

When I was approaching the hotel, I saw the neon sign and wasn't too hopeful. I was pleasantly surprised to enter a huge room, by European standards. The room was clean, the staff spoke English and the queen bed was huge. This place was bargain during the Christmas season. It was very close to the train station and near all the major sights by walking.

This place is too cute! There is a very sweet, little lobby with lots of tour info and a free Internet computer to use. There is also complimentary breakfast. The rooms are also romantic, and we had a little balcony with French doors. We highly recommend it!
