The hotel was perfect. The location was superb and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room and bath were spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was great but the rooftop dining room in the evening was way over priced. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, located near sites and nice shopping area. Hotel personal were very, very friendly and helpful. There was a train strike the day we were to leave and go south to naples, they immediately stepped in and got us flights out. The hotel people are the best. Breakfast is also great. I would definitely stay at hotel splendid royal again!! A 4 star recommendation from me.

We were pleased with all aspects of the hotel. There is a close bus (116). It is a quiet street at night. They have a restaurant at noon and night which was very expensive that we did not try. We liked a nearby restaurant called the Aurora 10. The hotel had a nice breakfast buffet in the morning.

I experienced a stay of 2 nights in October at the Splendide Royal and it was a very nice surprise. I never heard about this Hotel but now I can say that it is one of the top 5 hotels in rome! Service is perfect, mirabelle restaurant is a gem! Rooms are large and very well furnished. I will come back!
