Good for Leisure travelers

This hotel is located in a great neighborhood. It's just a short walk to the Vatican, cafes, and shops. Also it is located close to the Metro which is a great way to get around Rome... inexpensive and easy to navigate. The hotel staff was nice and quite helpful. The breakfast was amazing, lots of nice options. My only complaint would be that as a business traveler, the hotel does not offer internet access in the guestrooms. One must connect in the hotel lobby and it is quite expensive. Also, the hotel does not offer a fitness center.

This was our second stay at this hotel and it was just as nice as we remembered it. Room was nice and very clean. Bath products furnished were high quality and wonderful smelling. It was within walking distance of Vatican City which we walked to and from at least 4 times. Front desk people were very helpful. Breakfast which is included was excellent with many things to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel.

Jolly Hotel Leonardo da Vinci

The Jolly Hotel Leonardo da Vinci is positioned very close to Piazza del Popolo at the north end of Via del Corso in Rome. Walking on Via del Corso will get you to nearly all of Rome's major sites, so this puts the hotel in a reasonable location for tourists. The hotel is a short walk from both the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo. The longest walk you will likely face is to the Colosseum and Forum area, which will take approximately 25 minutes.

While this Jolly property ended up being convenient location-wise, the overall experience was lacking. From the start the desk service was useless. We spent a night at the hotel at both the front end and back end of the cruise, and unfortunately the service didn't improve for the second visit.

Both rooms that we spent a night in were small, but clean and comfortable. The hotel also provides a complimentary breakfast for guests in the restaurant, located next to the lobby.

Overall our 2 nights at this hotel were a decent experience, but don't expect much more than a comfortable place to stay at this property.

This hotel was ideal in all respects, walking distance to the Vatican and metro lines, prompt efficient service and a great buffet breakfast. My husband and I will definitely stay in this hotel again and again!
