Beware of making reservations!

After making reservations in early May, we thought since they were made through travelocity we would be safe in having a room. We had a 19 hr flight and arrived at 3:00 in the afternoon and exhausted, we had no room. No big deal to "Michele" at the front desk, he said " oh, you made reservations, we just have you down for the wrong date." Don't make the mistake of trusting this hotel again. They did call to another hotal and we were sent there but we would never trust this hotel again, it appeared that they do this frequently!
Nice hotel, bad location

The hotel and staff were wonderful. It was clean, and the staff ensured our stay was enjoyable. There was one thing the hotel and staff had no control about, and that was the area between the hotel and "A" line metro stop. We walked this two block walk daily. The men hanging around gauking at us and the overall grime of the area gave our vaction an element we were not looking for. So if you are thinking about this hotel, it is a very nice, clean hotel, in a bad location.

We found the hotel itself to very pleasant. The staff, the rooms (small but nice), service and breakfast were wonderful, but I would not stay at this hotel again because the area was filthy.

The staff is excelent, the room excellent ,bellisimo the area very safe, restaurant in the hotel and in the area excellent and good price, 12 to 15 euros for a bottle of wine....Not bad. Transportation taxi and public transportation excellent.
rome is a city to see to love and enjoy, if you like history. You have to come and experince the taste of rome and the vatican city, only a few stops by metro.

My mom and I stayed at this hotel for a week as we toured Rome. Though the room was smaller than we expected, it was still adequate for our needs. The staff was friendly and most of them spoke perfect English and were very willing to help us book tours or shuttle rides as we needed them. We took the train to Termini station to get to the hotel, but took the hotel's offered shuttle back to the airport, which was very helpful. The hotel is extremely close to all the sights as well as the train station, so we were able to walk to everything and were not dependent on taxis or buses to get around. We didn't realize there was a complementary breakfast service until our last day, but greatly enjoyed it when we went. It was a great trip all around.
