Great hotel, Great value!

This hotel gets top marks for 5 star hotels we stayed in this summer. It is half the price of the others, while being over the top in room quality, staff service, etc. Our basic room had a visible remote at the bedside to control all lights in the room, allowing one to light up a path to the door or bathroom so as not to stumble in the dark or wake up the spouse in the middle of the night (very nice touch). The room was new and of good size; as stated before, all staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. There is a taxi stand in front of the hotel, as well as a subway station. It is centrally located- next to the US Embassy and Brandenburg Gate- and within walking distance of good shopping. We were extremely pleased with the complimentary 5 star buffet breakfast included in the price as well. If it matters, celebrities stay here too- we actually saw a few during our stay.
