The hotel is located within the Old Town and is an easy 5 minute walk away from the main square (Rynek Glowny). They are replacing quite a few of the roads in Krakow at the moment and, unfortunately, Swietego Tomasza was one of them. We had two rooms booked but the hotel were only able to change one of them to be rear-facing.
The rooms are basic but comfortable, perhaps the bed and pillows could have been a bit firmer for me. For those needing internet, each room is equipped with ethernet sockets and cables are provided at reception. The television provides 4 or 5 polish channels an American finance channel and a couple of other foreign channels, none of which had good reception. There are no in-room safes but there are safes behind reception (you keep your own safe key). Remotes for the air-conditioning are also at reception.
Breakfast is included in the price. It's a buffet-style affair with a good selection catering for all tastes. Along with cereal, toast, yoghurts, sausages, eggs etc. you can sample polish salads, hams and cheeses. We found the breakfast to be first class and it set us up perfectly for the day ahead.
The staff were excellent - very polite and helpful. They were more than happy to look after our bags and allow us use of the safe even though we had checked out.
