Cool hotel, great location

This is a very cool hotel, with a huge open atrium that holds the hip Church Lounge. The rooms are a little small, but have everything you need and have a European feel. The white noise system is especially nice on busy traffic mornings. The staff is some of the friendliest and most helpful I've come across. Location is great - easy walking distance to SoHo and Tribeca, and the subway is right outside making all points in Manhattan very accessible. Will most definitely stay again.

Nice place, decent price for NYC

The Tribeca Grand is a really funky hotel with really interesting decor. It's great for business travelers with all the tech stuff right in the room. It was small, tight space around the bed, but very comfortable and clean. For me the location was excellent, walking distance to where I needed to go for business. The outside noise was pretty loud, but they had a white-noise system that countered the street noise (it may also be that ALL hotels in NYC have street noise). Overall, price was decent for NYC, I would stay there again!

GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION

It was our first trip to New York and the Tribeca Grand was the perfect hotel for our stay. The staff was amazing. Our first night there I got a free birthday drink from the bartender. Our room was cleaned and straightened daily and the radio set to our music, so when we got back after an exhausting day of shopping we could relax immediately. EVERY request was met right away and with a smile. The location was GREAT and has a tavern across the street that has great food and atmosphere. Would DEFINATELY stay again. Can;'t wait to go back!!

Tribeca Grand Hotel

Tribeca Grand Hotel

The Tribeca Grand is not just a place to stay--it’s an experience unto itself. If I were rich like Paris Hilton, I’d totally live there!

First of all, you can’t beat Tribeca, literally the TRiangle BElow CAnal. It’s a hip, affluent, and artistic area that’s also laid back, relatively quiet, and close to all sorts of things to do. But most importantly, the hotel itself has plenty to do and offers a lot of eye candy. You could avoid the outside world for a week and still have a blast!

Everything is very modern and comfortable, and the décor is spot on. My room (a standard) was very cozy, and the bathroom was amazing! There were tons of amenities at my fingertips, including a fax machine and all sorts of goodies (snacks, disposable cameras, even Tribeca Grand T-shirts and caps).

The hallway outside my room overlooked the atrium. The design gave the hotel an outdoorsy, airy feel (if you are afraid of heights, though, I wouldn’t recommend the higher floors).

On nights and weekends, this hotel becomes an uber trendy hang out. Trinity restaurant and the Church lounge can get really packed. The Tribeca Grand also has screening rooms and is home to many Tribeca Film Festival events. But don’t worry, all rooms have sound barriers so you can still get a good night’s rest.

I just can’t say enough positive things about this place! If you have the money, it’s a must when visiting NYC.
