Great Value for the money v. other hotels in area

The hotel is roughly 1.25 hours drive from MoBay Airport. The people are very laid back. The hotel is older but for what you pay it is a great value. They made their own beach area which is nice, but you're not right on a beach area; rather rocky area. The bars are excellent with great drinks all the time. The Legends bar out on the water was a favorite due to the relaxed atmosphere and excellent bartenders (ask for X ) Dunns River Falls is a must see - worth the money. The Green Grooto Cave was ok. Everything is very expensive and tipping is expected and they don't mind telling you if they want more. Vendors give you items for free and then demand money. Overall - stay on resort and have fun. Allow plenty of time for return to airport - lines are very long and slow.

the staff at club ambiance was very good except for the people at the front desk. they were not willing to help us when we were having a problem with the transportation to the airport. The rest of the staff were fun and friendly and very nice.
First trip to Jamaica

Overall I liked this hotel. My expectations were pretty high based on their website. They were lowered when I saw it compared to other resorts near by but then upon recovering from that and talking to other guest, many who had made several trips to this same resort, I realized this is an excellent resort for adults looking for a more secluded, uncrowded, central location. They have beautiful vistas, nice rooms, and good staff.

it was a great place, it is small so it was easy to find our room and not a hassle if we forgot something or wanted to go there for a bit. right on the beach even though we didn't have a honeymoon suite. great time!
Nice memories

This was our first time at C/A. We had a very nice time. We had a honeymoon suite that was very nice, but would enjoyed a little more room. The view was great with a palm blowing in the wind right by our balcony. The Jamaican people are great to be around, most love their jobs and are give great service. This place, C/A and Jamaica itself with its wonderful people, will always have a place in my heart.
