The setting is tranquil with lots of outdoor space, well-kept decks, ambient music with candlelit courtyards at night. You will imagine you own this smart property and have some guests staying over who cook you breakfast each morning. It's a fun and relaxing yet professionally run hotel/inn/B&B—it's hard to say, it's all of the above.
The rooms are large and some seem to come with private decks. They have a tub and shower in the bathroom, air conditioning, TV/VCR, etc., all the usual amenities you would expect of a hotel. They are beautifully decorated in a casual luxurious style. Think Williams-Sonoma Home and you are there.
The beds are pretty firm but nice and dressed to look like they have never been slept in. Everything is meticulously clean, you will meet the friendly house keepers who will do anything to make your stay comfortable.
On-site amenities include a hot tub and sauna, breakfast buffet, wi-fi, guest computer, and internet, all free of charge. Your balance is paid on arrival and, after that, you pay for nothing, even soda, water, coffee, lemonade, and fruit available through out the day.
If there is one drawback it would be not enough parking, only the deluxe rooms come with parking, all others have to find a lot or street parking which can be a problem. Apparently, this does not happen too much as most guests get the fast ferry from Boston during the summer months.
