They didn't have my room

My wife and I had reserved a room with a queen bed.
When we arrived, they only had a room with a full bed.
They offered to provide that room at 1/2 price, but when my wife and I looked at it, it was in a room that was only a couple of inches larger than that bed and it was on the ground floor facing the street.
They obviously found someone willing to pay more for a room than I booked here on travelocity and they simply gave my reservation away.
They were fairlyl polite and did call around to nearby hotels to find me an appropriate room at the same price.
If you do stay here, make sure your room is not on the ground floor.

good location for me....they did not leave soap or wash cloths the second day but brought them to my room immediately after I called.....bed is like sleeping on box springs.....There fix to this problem was to wrap the mattress with several blankets under the fitted sheet....it was much better but I had to ask for the "fix" two times before it was done.....I LOVED THE ROOF TOP - USED EACH MORNING FOR MY COFFEE AND CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST THE HOTEL FURNISHED FREE!

This hotel was the highlight of our vacation! Beautiful, modern, spotless. The roof top deck is perfect. There are 2 parks on the same block as the hotel. The staff was WONDERFUL! Very friendly and helpful. All requests were answered promptly. Location was perfect for sightseeing. Overall excellent!

Very cozy. Staff was very curteous. A nice quick walk to Soho shopping area.
