A+++ Excellent Hotel and Accomidations

This is an excellent hotel to stay in. My wife and I came from Atlanta, GA to Prague to celebrate Valentines Day together for a mini weekend getaway. Wow! We were blown away by the beautiful hotel, the lovely architecture, and the professional courteous staff. My wife is a flight attendant and we do a lot of international travel. This hotel beat all of our expectations by far! When we got to our hotel the first day, the staff had asked us to kindly wait until our room was ready to check in, about 30 minutes. So after we went down to the restaurant and had a delicious complimentary continental breakfast, the porter escorted us to our room, and were we ever amazed. The room was actually a suite! The bed was a huge king sized bed with gorgeous light fixtures and room furnishings. The living room was huge and reminded us of an old gothic wine cellar with all the 21st century amenities. It had a separate WC (bathroom for those who don't go to Europe much!) and a separate shower room with a huge bath tub for my wife to soak in. We were on the 2nd floor, but the real view was from atop the 5th level terrace, which was an outdoor bar! The view was magnificent looking over Old Town. Everything from the metro, restaurants and the Charles River Bridge was easy walking distance. Just so you know, we had some Flight Attendant friends who were working on the fight over and they were staying at crew's hotel near the Prague Castle. They complained how they had to walk down steep walkways and embankments, which was tricky in the winter. They were soo jealous of us when they heard where we were staying!

Best Place to Stay in Prague

It was our first trip to Prague. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is located in the center of Old Town and is really in the heart of the city. You can pretty much walk everywhere from this location. There is a lot of people walking traffic in this area. Lots to see. The hotel is very nice and clean. It is safe too. The staff is eager to help and I found by giving a a few tips around you really got their attention. They would look for you and look after you very carefully if you gave 20 crowns(14 bucks) out occasionally. When I called for coffee to be brought up to the room every morning they were there fast. Also go to the roof top restaurant/bar. We had drinks up there and enjoyed the views. We had the presidential suite which had its own little patio overlooking the square. I would highly recommend paying a few dollars more and asking for that room. I would go again!!!!!!!

This is the best location in Prague! Right off old town square, so you are in the heart of the tourist district. The service was unreal, the food was good with a very nice breakfast buffet, and the view from the terrace on the 6th floor was fabulous. It's the only hotel with such a great terrace view of the the entire city. The rooms were well furnished with an old world charm. A definite... can't go wrong booking here!
