The modern hotel has 190 rooms, including 130 three-star and 60 four-star. The difference of the rooms you see on the door. 4 stars = L (arge) and XL, that sign is on the outer door of the room. At my door the L. In the hotel are also meeting facilities. But I have not used these.
The parking
The hotel has an underground parking garage, with plenty of places. At least I had no trouble getting a spot. The cost for one day are 22.50 euros. Not cheap, but parking is expensive in Amsterdam. For the hotel have parking along the street, but then you always have to add money in parking meters.
Entry
With the car I drove straight into the garage. But then? There is an elevator, but the door to the hall of the elevators is locked. There you need a room key card for that. But we have not checked in yet. What now? Fortunately, there was just another hotel guest, who opened the door for us with his room key. (Not so safe!) Take the elevator to the ground floor and WOW, we are in a large modern reception area. A black marble floor and red objects. Two red armchairs in the form of a hand with fingers. Green glass stairs. A Nespresso coffee machine, where you can make your own coffee for 2 euro. And a marble counter where no one sits. There is no bell to be found. What now? Suddenly a servant ran up the stairs, he saw us and stopped. "How may I help you?" Now we find the reception. Oh the reception is at the other hotel. We walked with him through a glass gallery as a whole connection between the two hotels. Because he told us that it had two hotels, namely the hotel and the Art Westcord hotel. But they formed a whole, with a reception. Well, that will not be clear for every guest.
Room
Well I have in my life has seen many hotel rooms, but this room is great. Delicious fresh, modern color combinations. The hotel room is equipped with all comforts. A mini bar, coffee or tea, a safe, a vanity mirror in the bathroom, a shower and bathtub, hairdryer, desk, wireless internet, TV with movie choices, a nice sitting area where you can sit indeed easy and pleasant. The sleeping area is simply amazing, a great bed with a duvet and comfortable pillows.
Breakfast
The buffet breakfast in the restaurant and out on the terrace between 7 and 10 hours.
It is a very wide range, with various breads, different fillings including, ham, cheese, scrambled eggs with bacon, grilled sausages, boiled eggs, coffee, tea, yogurt, fruit and for the price of 17 euros.
Reception
Remarkable is the friendliness of the personnel at the reception showed. Professional and helpful. It seemed nothing was too much to them. And also in various languages. Because many international guests visiting the hotel.
Setting

Conclusion
A nice, exceptional hotel near the center of Amsterdam. The staff is very friendly and attentive. One can always ask and nothing is too much. It's a place where you can relax in luxury. Daytime visit or meeting and enjoy Amsterdam night enjoy cozy. Prices for these luxury reasonable. I personally enjoyed this hotel and I can recommend with confidence.
