The hotel was in a nice location and had nice vistas (during one of the rare moments when the sun was out.) There is not one sign on the road that indicates either the street name, or the name of the hotel. It is conveniently located to Shannon airport, but your best landmark is to turn left after the Esso station on N85. Since most travelers from the US are landing early in the morning, it was great that they had 1 of our 2 rooms available to us at 9 a.m. so we could snooze for a couple of hours before hitting the sight-seeing trails. The rooms were OK - but could have used some updating in the decor and amenities areas. The dining room and the full Irish breakfast were very good. The dining staff speaks very limited English, which at times was problematic. Room service was only available from noon until 9:30 at night. The town of Ennis is only a short ride, and it is a very charming town. The area is convenient to the Burren, Cliffs of Moher, and also to the Dingle Peninsula- particularly if you take the Ferry over the River Shannon.
