Golden Tulip Leiden

The Golden Tulip Leiden is a 4 star hotel located 200m to the left of the train station. Its location on the fringe of the old town and very close to a large number of restaurants and shops was perfect for us. Despite its closeness to the train station, we never heard the train.
The hotel is very modern on the outside but very warm on the inside. We particularly loved the 75 copies of oil paintings by famous Dutch/Flemish masters that adorned the hallways. The room which was tastefully decorated in the Scandinavian style with caramel colored wood furniture and warm toned uphostery, was on the small side. There were hairdryer, mini bar, safe, trouser press, TV with several english speaking channels in the room. The bathroom was new and spotlessly clean.
Our rate included a nice buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant, Reubens.
We stayed at the Golden Tulip de Nachtegaal located next to the Keukenhof Garden on our previous trip and were equally pleased. We highly recommend the Golden Tulip Leiden and possibly the Golden Tulip chain to you.
