Super comfortable beds.

After a long drive and even longer day I was very pleased to find the room spotless and the beds super comfortable. Location was incredible and room amenities nice. . . flat screen TV, Crabtree & Evelyn bath products. Breakfast in the dining room was a bit pricey but pleasant nonetheless. Aside from some noisy talkers in the hallway that was clearly audible in the room it was a wonderful stay.
One of the worst experiences in a hotel

I stayed at this hotel on December 19, 2008. I traveled on business to many places in the country. Never have I encountered so much rudeness. I was trying to find the business center which is located in the basement. The stairs down to the center didn't seem right to me. So I asked the security guard that just happened to be there if that was the entrance to the bus ctr. He said yes and then asked me if I was a guest at the hotel. I said yes, he told me that was the way to the bus ctr and then asked me to accompany him to the desk. I thought he was trying to help me and come to find out he wanted to check if I was a guest at the hotel or not. At the reception desk, he asked the receptionist If he knew whether I was a guest or not. The receptionist asked me my name and I refuse to give it him and demanded to ask why I was being interrogated. When I asked the security guard why he was asking, he said, without looking at me, that he was not talking to me. The receptionist realized that this had the potential to get out of hand and told me to go ahead to the bus ctr. I asked to see the manager later and it happened that the receptionist was the manager in charge. I travel by myself to many places and I have never being treated like this. I felt this man was questioning my presence in the hotel because I was alone and a black Hispanic woman. What was he thinking?? Don't want to know but I won't stay at this hotel again.
It was a nightmare

The front desk put us in the wrong room, then gave the keys to the correct occupants -- a bride and groom! After the couple let themselves into our room while we were there, the groom and I spent 30 minutes sorting it out at the front desk while the bride's family stood there and accused me of stealing their room, luggage and wedding cake top. Thirty minutes later the night manager came to search our room for the luggage in spite of the fact we had sent the same luggage back down an hour before.
The management was not even terribly apologetic. It's a wonderful old hotel, but just make sure you get the right room.

We loved our short stay at the Skirvin Hilton. It was very beautiful and modern. We were most happy with the price, which had the cheapest rate of the downtown OKC hotels. We also enjoyed our bath robes that were provided.

This was one of the most beautiful resored hotels I have ever stayed at. I was very impressed by the detail at every level. The staff was great, however, the front dest staff could have been more friendly and inviting. The young men at the valet were very helpful and polite. Alway ready to offer advice on what to see and where to go in Oklahoma City. The room was outstanding. Flat screen HD TV and bath area that are all updated. I would stay here again and again. The price was right!
