Having opened in 1897 at a privileged location in the centre of Zurich-Oerlikon, the Hotel Sternen Oerlikon soon became famous as a popular venue for visitors to the close by Zurich Exhibition Center and the Hallenstadion. Since that time, many international companies have located in Zurich North, taking advantage of the excellent traffic connections to downtown Zurich and Zurich Kloten airport.
