The worst hotel I ever stayed in

Last minute, and as the last summer fun thing, I decided to take my 7 year old son to Hershey Park. This was one of the only hotels available, and having had decent experiences with Best Western before I took the chance. Turned out to be a mistake... the only thing I will say is that they have a bed bug infestation there. We were moved to 2 different rooms and both had bed bugs. I hesitantly accepted a third room, but that wreaked of smoke, the bathroom was old and unclean, the carpet hadn't been steam cleaned probably forever... since we live 2 hours away and it was 10 pm at night, I decided to take the chance... we slept on top of the sheets and left at 7 am without showering... for $* a night I was really aggravated. I will never go there nor any other Best Western again.

Our Family took a mini-vacation to Hershey Pa and stayed at the Best Western Hershey Inn! It was perfect location and a great place to stay! The front desk staff were friendly and check-in and also the check-out was quick and easy! The gals working the front desk were more than happy to answer any questions and solve any problem! They were kind enough to make some suggestions for places to have dinner and I felt welcomed to stay! THe room was a nice size . The 4 of us (all adults) had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable and very quiet for sleeping. Most of all the cleaniness was excellent! Loved having the refrigerator in the room...it was hidden inside a cabinet ! Did not have time to use the pool..we only stayed 1day but if and when I return I will allow more time. The pool was very inviting! This Inn is very close to all tourist attractions such as Hershey Park, The Chocolate Factory, Hershey Gardens and Butterfly House, Zoo America and more. Only a short 5 minute ride! We also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and were sorry we had to leave so soon! I also appreciate that even though our travel time was limited and we only could stay one evening we were treated well. Some hotels chains treat you poorly if you do not stay for 3 nights or more ! I will be back on my next visit to Hershey! Thanks to all at the Best Wesern Hershey Inn!

Worst Experience

Simply put, the worst hotel room I have ever stayed. Extremely pricy for what it is. I was given a "non smoking" room and have to say the best odor it had was of cigarette. You cannot walk from the bathroom to the bed without shoes, it has been long ago since the last time they vacumed. Room was on the back of building and door didnt lock properly, felt very insecure in the room. No soap in the bathroom. Im not thinking if they change bed sheets. Sure they dont. Asked for a room change and there was none available! My comment after having vast experience with Best Western....they should close this hotel. Is a shame for them to have their name used in a place like this

Please do not bring your family here !!!

Our stay at this hotel was a nightmare! The rooms are over priced for the shape that they are in! We were floored by a horrible musty smell in our room and when brought to the attention of the desk clerk we were spoken very rudely to. I have never stayed in such a filthy hotel. To add to the horrible smell we found....mold/mildew on the shower curtain, a dirty corroded shower drain and some kinda of smuck all up the side of the shower wall. Not to mention the leak spots on the ceiling tiles in the bathroom. When we finally went to bed we noticed a giant spider with two smaller ones in the corner of the room by the curtains with webs that had been there a very long time. To top off the end of our stay...the next morning when we went to make coffee there was already some in the pot...that was left over from previous guests!! Dont be pulled in by the looks of the pool ..this hotel was the worst we had ever been to!

This hotel was NOT cheap but it was the chepest on the net for Hershey!! LOL! Anyway, no real complaints and if I had to, would stay here again. Some pros were, immaculately clean rooms, pillow top soft beds and comfy pillows, coffee maker in room and spotless bathroom! More pros were the soundproof quiet rooms and quiet outdoor area. The room had a a/c/heating unit that you can control unlike the annoying "climate control" units that you FREEZE your derriere off in!! The FREE breakfast was delicious which including homemade Belgian waffles, fruit and more! Good hotel!
