Perfect! Perfect! Perfect!

My girlfriend and I just got back from a European get-away. We spent a week hopping through the UK, France, and Holland. Between London and Paris the hotels were sub par, cramped, old and outdated, and over priced. By time we got to Amsterdam we thought there was no such thing as a great European hotel for this price range. When we found Rembrandt Square and looked up to find our beautiful hotel in a perfect location, we knew instantly this would be different. The hotel lobby and bar are gorgeous and classic. The staff was sincerely friendly and walked us to our door to find an outstanding room. While not the largest room I've ever been in, for the two of us it was simply perfect. Modern style, flat panel wall mounted tv, newly renovated bathroom with beautiful hot water, and a phenomenal view of the square. Obviously the hotel wasn't the most amazing aspect of Amsterdam, but it certainly made our stay a comfortable and cozy one. I will certainly be returning to the NH Schiller many many times to come in the future.

Got a great room with view over Rembrandtplein. Staff was helpful, but not too friendly. Room and service were what I expected for what I paid for the stay. Location is great, literally steps away from the tram line, and cabs are always waiting outside. Coffeeshops all around area, as well as great restaurants. Breakfast was VERY overrated, but dinner was fantastic!

I have no clue where the people stayed because the NH Shiller was ghetto. If you like noise all the time!!!! And construction at 8 am than this is the place for you. The Staff were obnocxious.....Not to mention if you are taller than a

My wife and I stayed at the Schiller for our 15th anniversary. If you're looking for the exact opposite of a cookie-cutter hotel, this is it.The staff was helpful and friendly. We arrived on an early flight and were given a room immediately. The room's double doors let in lots of fresh air, and the hotel is convenient to everything. It can be a bit noisy on the square, but it didn't bother us.

Very nice hotel

Good location. Walking, restaurants, canals all nearby.Room was surprisingly large as was bathroom and very well-equipped. Beds very comfortable. Staff spoke English and was very helpful providing transportation info. We had just returned from 3 weeks in Italy where ALL breakfast buffets were included. When they told us about the breakfast buffet, we didn't ask. We had 3-4 slices of cheese, 3-4 slices of ham, coffee and 2 hard rolls. Cost: 32 euros! Will stay here again as location is very central and hotel was lovely. No A/C. Didn't need it in October.
