We loved staying here! The twice daily turndown service made it easy to keep things clean (lots of sand on things). The pool was a little small, but the swim up bar was nice. Everyone was very helpful.

The resort was very nice and well maintained, however it is undergoing some renovation and I would have liked to have known that. It was loud from 8 am til 4 or 5 pm. Most days that was fine but one day I would liked to have taken a nap and that was not possible. Stay there again? Not while it was under renovation.
Too expensive for what you get.

The service and attention were great at this hotel, however, what you get for your money is not a whole lot. Room leaked from the rain, we had 3 rooms and 2 of them leaked while the 3rd was cloggled up in the balcony. You can tell this is an older hotel that needs some updating in some areas. Didn't have a view from our room. There were no activities included with our stay. Pool was very plain. They were under construction and we couldn't rest in the room during the day with all the noise. Kind of like the commercial!! LOL We spent 3 nights at the Moon Palace when we checked out of here and their facilities were so much better had tours included and their buffets were excellent. Service was also great and the pools were amazing, specially for the kids. They had a kids pool with games, slides, etc... Kids really enjoyed their stay here. I would recommend this for someone who wnats to be in the middle of all and are not looking to go on tours. Night clubs within walking distance, shopping, etc... If you are looking to relax and do tours then go to Moon Palace you get a lot more and was actually $*less for equal nights stay!
Great Property
Everything about this property is amazing - the staff, the location, the food, & the drinks. It is located right next to many of the restaurants and clubs so you can walk to those spots. The staff is super friendly and many remember you from day to day (bartenders had my beer waiting when they saw me coming). My room looked out on the dolphins - definitely worth the price. Next time I'm in Cancun I'll be staying at Dreams!
We'd go back in a heart beat!!!

This hotel and vacation far exceeded our families expectations. The staff was friendly, polite and courteous. The restaurants had a variety of foods and they were never over crowded. Each evening the World Cafe had a different theme. For example, Mexican, French, Italian, Caribbean and some had shows that followed the theme. The Mexican show was Fantastic!
My kids loved the Explorer's Club and begged to go back every day. Camping night was the most fun for them. They set up a camping theme by the lagoon, ate dinner, watched a movie on the projection screen as they lounged on the chairs and they even roasted marshmellows!
The beaches were breath taking and there was plenty of room for everyone. We did not feel over crowded at all.
The best part? The dolphins!! Talk about angels on earth. Their energy was beyond beautiful.
Cancun and Dreams has captured our hearts.
