The first thing I noticed about this resort was the wind, which can be significant. Then I took in the polished surroundings, the flamingos wading in a pond near the tennis courts and the great view from the balcony. The main pool is at the bottom of the hill and includes a wet bar, but the wind may make in-pool pina coladas more effort than they're worth. There is a glass wall protecting the hot tub from the wind, but heavy breezes were still a nuisance during three out of the six days we were there. On the days it wasn't too windy, the place was wonderful and secluded. It is brand new, so the resort is in pristine condition and there is a veritable army of workers to ferry you to and from various buildings in little carts. It is built into a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean, so the views are magnificent.

Our condo was huge: two enormous bedrooms, one with two queen beds, and a living room and kitchen that made this New Yorker very jealous. The master bedroom had a Jacuzzi tub, while the guest bedroom had a walk-in shower. The condo had three TVs –- one in each room -– in case you can’t live without CNN. A balcony ran the length of the condo.

The resort even included free five-minute back and neck massages by the pool. Lovely. It has its own private beach, tennis courts, multiple pools, exercise facility and restaurants. It is about a 10-minute drive from town, however, so be prepared to travel a bit to go out for meals or on excursions. This resort is both a hotel and a timeshare. I would highly recommend it, if it weren't for the occasional strong winds. That said, we went in March and I believe it is calmer other times of the year.

The resort looked just like the picture in the RCI book. We had a three-bedroom unit on a top floor which was nice and breezy. The only issue we had was the sign above the toilets "no paper in the toilets." We were told that this included toilet tissue (something to do with small sewage lines). We didn't adhere to this because of sanitary concerns.

Nicest place I've stayed. Built into hillside so every room has great ocean view from balcony. Pools excellent, beach quiet, gardens BEAUTIFUL! Staff attentive. Only problem is golfcarts used to shuttle guests up & down hillside are noisy - especially at 3am! (kinda fun though). Not a party place - no nightlife and older, more affluent guests.

Very secluded and quiet.

We really loved the resort. A few things though, first We didnt know that the beach was a no swimming beach. So if your reading you can not swim at this beach you have to take a shuttle 15 minutes into town to swim at a sister resort. But really We liked the resort becasue it was very private adn quiet. It wasnt over packed or crowded. And the pools were amazing and really so were the happy hours!!! The food there was VERY EXPENSIVE and so so on taste. My advice would be to go into town to eat(which is a 15 minute taxi ride to town).
