The worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

The Hotel room we were given when we arrived was next to the elevator which was making so much noise that you could not hear each other talk inside the room much less be able to sleep there. There were also thousands of small ants crawling all over the furniture. I actually got bitten by them so badly on my legs that I had to go to a doctor back in the states. I still have the bite marks all over my legs and it has been two weeks since we got back. Also the security lock on our room door had been pried off and was no longer there. My husband went to ask for another room and was told there were none. He asked if anyone had ever complained about the noise and they said yes they got that quite a bit. The pools had dead flies in them and were not cleaned very well, the food was mediocre at best and also had flies all around the open buffet. The common areas had little airconditioning mostly just fans and so you sweat everywhere you went in the facility. It was more a place for teens on spring break than for adults looking for a nice vacation. I would never recommend it to anyone. We ended up booking into another hotel on the Island - The Wyndham- which was much nicer, cooler and didn't have ants. We were only given one nights refund from the four we paid for and did not use. So we paid for this vacation twice. Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!
Great trip for the money

My boyfriend and I just returned from Breezes. The good parts of our trip were that the staff was friendly, and helpful. They had plenty of food. The beaches were clean and well kept.
The Garden of Eden was very romantic and their was a lot to do at the resort, so you really did not need to leave it. However if you did the staff was more than friendly to assist you.
On the bad side of the trip, there were alot of rowdy teenagers staying there. I guess it was their first time away from home?? A lot of drinking and beer bonging in the pool. You had to wait for towels and /or wash clothes. The staff took forever to tidy the rooms and finally the BUGS!!!! Don't even try to eat outside at their lunch hut. Flies are everywhere!!!!
All in all it was a good trip for the money, it was not 5 star so don't expect that, but it is a good value to get the taste of the Bahamas and enjoy the sun, water and the get away.

At breezes bahamas, it's buffet or nothing. Don't let them tell you they have other restaurant choices. They are not available. Beach was good and drinks were ok.

just got back after nine days...hotel was clean..housekeeping was on the job,only knock was the food...breakfast,lunch was o.k.dinner was poor...ate at other hotels..beach was great..drinks were great(call your poison)..service was good..overall we would go back..enjoyed our short time....well it seemed short....go for it

I went with my boyfriend for 5 days and had an amazing time!! We're 21, we went for a romantic trip but also to have fun. Definitely go on the Booze Cruise, it's an experience. Our food was good, not spectacular. The room was great, service was great (everyone's so nice), hotel is very safe. Get up early and go down to the beach to get a deal on jet skis. There's a mixed crowd, young and old. Some kids were obnoxious but whatever we had a great time. Go to the straw market! It's funny, kind of like Canal Street in Manhattan. Vendors asking you to buy things and a lot of tourists. You can take the Jitney from the front of the hotel for 1.25 and come back on the Jitney until 630pm. We also went to Senor Frog's for lunch.. it was a blast! We weren't as drunk and the other people in there but the food was good and the atmosphere was good. All in all, the trip was awesome and I wish we didn't have to leave. There are women on the beach asking if you want to buy jewelry or get your hair braided but just say no thanks and they leave you alone. They did every activity on time according to schedule - very fun!
