Sandals Royal Bahamian Weddingmoon

My wife and I went to Sandals in the Bahamas for our wedding and honeymoon. The resort was really nice, and had a very relaxed atmosphere. They have two pools to hang out by, should not want to walk 30 feet down to the beach. One of the pools is more relaxed than the other, as one has a DJ/Event staff running different events like basketball pool, water balloon toss, volleyball, etc. The sand on the beach is warm to the touch, and not too hot. Once you get in the water its always warm and the sand is extremely soft on your feet. There is always something to do, and the staff is great. The wedding was great and the weather was beautiful. We had butler service, so we had extra perks every time we came back to our room. Some surprises included bubble baths ready after a long expedition, chilled champagne on several occasions, cheese, crackers, and fruit plates. They did a great job for our wedding and honeymoon, and we will be back in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Sandals resort! The staff was friendly and professional! They made our stay at the resort like a dream come true. The restaurant offer fabulous meals, with different selections so that the pickest eater will still be able to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner and enjoy all of their meals. The inclusion of alcohol allows you to enjoy a relaxed trip and no need for extra tipping along the resort so that you do not need to worry about carrying cash around the resort! We recommend the butler service! They organized our dinner reservations, made appointments at the spa, brought us drinks on the beach, reserved chairs by the pool and beach, and many other special surpises!

My wife and I, on the spur of the moment decided to spend a long weekend at the Sandals Royal Bahamian from August29 through September 2nd. Well, I must say it was a great idea. Though we were apprehensive initially due to the time of year, as it turned out the weather was fabulous! For us it was only a 2 ½ hour flight form Washington DC to Nassau, and then just an easy 20 minutes to the resort. We have visited other Sandals resorts before, Antigua, Dunn’s River and Halcyon, but we must say the Royal Bahamian is top notch. It is not a huge resort, but of medium size, just the right size to get to know people. The staff at the resort was great, very courteous and attended to our every need. September 1 was Linda’s (my wife’s) birthday. That morning I approached on of the managers and whispered to him that it was Linda’s birthday and could they send up a few balloons. Well that afternoon, I got more than I thought I would. After we returned from our scuba diving trip, which by the way the diving was very good, we went to eh room and showered then down to the pool bar for a beverage. Once we returned to the room, there were balloons, but not only that there were rose petals leading the way into the room, the shape of a heart made from rose petals on the bed, a happy birthday card and a nice little snacking desert was waiting! In addition, the staff had made reservations at Baccarat’s, the French restaurant which was booked up for our stay. Needless to say the food that evening was excellent, and the staff had made a special chocolate cake for Linda’s birthday! She loved it and we were both pleasantly surprise, though I should not have been since all of our experiences with Sandals has been excellent. We will definitely be returning to Sandals Royal Bahamian in the future. Sandals resort has been good to us and we have always appreciated the all inclusive approach, especially since we are divers, the courteous staff and the consistent quality of the food, rooms and amenities offered. Our hats are off to Butch Stewart and Sandals for the consistent quality we have found at all of the Sandals Resorts.

Have You Visited the Heaven?
Last July my wife and me celebrated our honeymoon after a wonderful wedding party in Mexico; our desire was to have (at list) a similar celebration related with the decision to be together the rest of our lives, to have a wonderful vacation time and an incredible scenario to put the "cherry in the cake" after an intensive wedding preparation long time. The recommendation of travel agency was an all inclusive hotel, and Sandals could be a good option. Then we decided to enjoy a week in Sandals Royal Bahamian
My dear friends, my first comment about it… "This is a real all inclusive concept", all inclusive. Premium class food, drinks, amenities are included. My second comment is that the place is the paradise… sand, beach, water, whether have the perfect balance; … whatever you have in your mind about vacation, celebration, party, rest… My last comment, definitely you are in the paradise because of the place; but when you have a warm feeling because of the attention of Rico when he serve a delicious pasta with an excellent red wind glass, and Theo makes you laugh because of he is dancing in the island party, and Antonia leave you a fresh Miami-vice cocktail on the beach, or meet every morning to Samantha’s beautiful smile in the breakfast time… you are in the heaven; yes, the Sandals Bahamian staff are authentic angels… You will find the warmest service any time.
Our Favorite Resort
We’ve been to 2 sandals, one being in Ocho Rios, the other in the Bahamas. We chose to come back to the Bahamas a second time. We like it for different reasons (for the better) than the one in Jamaica. The staff seem friendlier, age group is more appropriate for us, the atmosphere is great. Darren the bartender was a pleasure to talk to at the Royal Lounge, and no matter how busy he was he had time to be nice and corteous. Tamara, who was our daytime beach bartender was also very eager to please us. The staff at the spices restaurant were very nice and pleasant every morning, even though we knew they had a long day ahead of them. Where in the world did you get sucha a fantastic playmaker as Navada? He was funny and always upbeat every time you saw him. And Kudos for having the cutest, best interns from Canada-Julie, Jennifer, Natalie, they were very nice and pleasant to be with. In all we had the best time in Bahamas .
