GORGEOUS BEACH

The beach was incredible, fabulous sand, calm water, super friendly staff, wicked clean and lots of opportunities to win free rum. Also, the electrical outlets adapt to several types of plugs. I totally will stay here again.
One con: Mosquitoes - I suppose you'll find this everywhere on the island, just bring some insect repellant.

This was my first tropical vacation and the RIU made me feel right at home. The hotel offers clean rooms, a beautiful beach, and a friendly staff. My husband and I had a great time.

Rooms smell so bad you couldn't breath!! The curtains were covered in mildew which was very nasty. Don't stay here if you want real Jamaican cuisine!! Food is very bland!

we had the time of our life at riu tropical bay. It is so amazing and beautiful. the staff treated you like royalty. our 12 year old son was with us and they were great with him. we will definetely be going back.

Have been to Jamaica before and wanted to try a different resort. Price was right, but service wasnt. Room was broken into and staff wasnt understanding. No tipping rule is a joke. If you dont tip, you dont get service. No ironing board, washcloths or Red Stripe! Had to put a deposit down for iron and could only get 1 towel at a time when at beach or pool. Extremely disappointed for being such a large chain.
