Had an Awesome Time!

My wife and I decided to go somewhere special to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary. Originally she was apprehensive because of the potential expense but I talked her into going. I decided that we should go to Jamaica since neither one of us had been there. Needless to say it was one of the best decisions I've ever made!
The Sandals-Negril resort was very clean and EVERY member of the staff is very friendly and always greets you with a smile. I would highly recommend the concierge service if your budget permits. The concierge staff at Sandals - Negril is top notch! Anything we wanted to do in relation to on site activities or off-site excursions they took care of. Our concierge consultant was Nateena and she was awesome! On our last night, she and her counterpart, Joemo had our bed decorated with rose petals, a towel statue, a plate of fruit and a bottle of champagne chilled in ice with a card wishing us a happy anniversary! Now that's service! Carlene, the senior concierge consultant always made sure we were taken care of whenever we ran into her at the resort.
As far as on-site activities, I would highly recommend going snorkeling, especially the Sunset snorkeling cruise! You do have to pay to go on the Sunset Snorkeling cruise but it is well worth the expense. Instead of being out for the standard 30 - 45 mins, you go out for 90 mins to two hours to two different locations while the sun is setting in the background (weather permitting). It is priceless! You will be thoroughly entertained by Mackie, your snorkeling guide! He does not disappoint! He will give you an impromptu tour of different sea life that's swimming around. If you're lucky he might even catch a sea turtle for you to hold and take a picture with if one's around. And when you return to the glass bottom boat, he'll entertain you with his dance moves and beaming personality. Backing Mackie up is Michael the driver of the boat who will also throw in his dance moves and Jamaican swagger. The great thing about these guys is as much as they want you to have a good time, they look out for your safety first.
As far as off-site excursions, we highly recommend the Canopy Tour. Regardless of the weather you will not be disappointed. Bring PLENTY of mosquito repellent though.
All of the restaurants are top notch and the food is excellent. Our personal favorites were Kimonos (make sure Wayne is your chef) and the Barefoot Grill on the beach (ask for Ouida and she'll provide you with excellent service).
My wife and I had such a great time at Sandals-Negril we're definitely going back. The facility is very nice but it's the staff that makes your stay so enjoyable. It's a laid back atmosphere where you can either do a lot of activities or just relax on the beach. For the guys, you will earn a lot points from your significant other by taking her to this resort. My wife is still trying to figure out when we can go back. I would highly recommend Sandals-Negril.

This was our 4th Sandals vacation and our first time to Sandals Negril. The resort is older than some but it is beautiful. Very clean and the staff is fantastic! Our room faced the back of the resort looking at the gazebo towards the road. We never did hear any traffic. We went for 'reunion week' and there was lots extra events planned for members. Made the trip even better. The food was also good, always something good to eat at all hours of the day or night. We would definitely come back to this resort.

My husband and I stayed at Sandals Negril for our 5th time this April and had a wonderful time yet again. The staff is wonderful!!! Horace the General Manager gets out and mingles with the guests and make you feel like he really cares about your stay. Clay and Charmain were very helpful getting us a new room after the air conditioner didn't function properly in the 1st room. They had us moved in no time flat. Philip at the 4C's always friendly and greets you with a smile. Charlene and Dian make the best eggs or omlets every morning with a cheerful "Good Morning" and Suzette always checking on us to make sure everything is Irie. We had the best time and already booked our trip for next year.
The food is great, the rooms are comfy and the grounds are beautiful. We never met a staff member who didn't greet us with a smile or who was unpleasant in any way. They make you feel like family. That's why we keep going back. Thanks Sandals Negril!!!! See you next year.
