Long Weekend Family Reunion

On this visit, I stayed 5 days and 4 nights. The purpose of the visit was for a family's wedding. The hotel is wonderful. I found the value exceeded expectation. Overall, people were friendly. food was tasty, and drinks never stopped. I will most likely stay at this hotel again. The good thing about this hotel, is that I could visit there with family, or I could visit there with friends, or I could visit there with a lover.
Wonderful Vacation

Even though the transport from airport is long, it saved on having to run around in taxis all week. In fact, the transport was like a sightseeing excursion in itself and was an opportunity to see the island and the driver was like a tour guide. We were able to walk to Cool Runnings from the hotel, which is a terrific catamaran excursion that goes snorkling and to Dunns River Falls. Hotel is right in Ocho Rios, so shopping was right outside the door. Food was terrific even on the buffet. Specialty restaurants were easy to schedule and exceptional. Evening entertainment wasn't topnotch, except for Dennis Mitchell, although the Jamaican Fiesta on the beach was fantastic - tiki lights, steel drum band, local vendors, and plenty of food. Bars are accessible all over the resort and drinks were just right. Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Swimming pools wrap around the entire premises and beach is clean.

The last time I went to Ocho Rios I stayed at this hotel and I had the time of my life. I love this hotel, it is the best for the money. The location is ideal (downtown Ocho Rios), everything is in walking distance, unlike some other resort that is far out away in the boondocks. I think people only stay at the other resorts because they are advertised more in America. This hotel beats them all. The staff was friendly, and fun. I had a ball. I am going back soon. The pool area is spectacular, right on the beach. I thought I was dreaming.

Took awhile to get there but great place at a reasonable price. All inclusive definitely the way to go. Friendly and helpful staff. Ocho Rios walkable. The food was good especially the specialty restaurants. Very busy place. Oceanfront room worth the extra money. Would stay there again

Check in was horrible, rooms need to be updated ,food was not great same food over and over forget about trying to make a reservation for the two restaurants always book up, my grandchildren were happy with the pool ,the noise was terrible at night if you happen to stay in Tower A, I will not be back to the Sunset & Spa Resort in Montego Jamaica
