Unique Personality

I’ve heard of Arequipa´s many appellatives, but to me it is a city with its own personality, style and spirit. You never get tired here and time just flies by, making it difficult to see and know everything the city has to offer. The memories of what I had seen, touched or experienced were there with me at all times, though. The floating sensation and warmth from the Jacuzzi’s waters helped me recreate the exciting experience I’d had in the Misti volcano as my body recharged for my next destination: the Colca canyon.

Good Rest, 24 Hours a Day

When returning from long field trips in Arequipa, we arrived at the hotel and immediately unwind with its tranquil and soothing atmosphere. Whether it was swimming at the hotel pool or enjoying its gardens we simply forgot about the craziness of its downtown. Its great location was perfect for doing so whenever we felt I needed to rest.

A Place to Rest

Arequipa was one of the many destinations on our honeymoon in Peru and the truth is we loved every little thing about it, especially the hotel food which was out of this world and the amazing chocolate from La Iberica. Besides all the food, I also enjoyed the peace and quiet you breathe in all parts of the hotel; my special place: the gardens where you could just walk around and relax.

With the high standards you would expect from a luxurious hotel in Europe, this hotel gave me just what I needed: a well deserved rest and the good service of a five star hotel. The hotel surroundings were quiet and peaceful, ideal for taking long walks. I’m sure that if I had not stayed at Libertador hotel, my stay in Arequipa would not have been the same.

Invigorating Stay

I got to know many places in Arequipa, but there was one in particular that made me feel 30 years younger. Taking a sauna at the hotel reminded me of the thermal waters of Yura where we spent what feels like hours floating and playing like kids. Once I got back to the hotel I felt as new, recharged and ready for more adventures.
