Dreams was an awesome hotel with great views, rooms, service, and employees! I cannot say enough about how great this place is and how I can't wait to go back and bring family and friends with me. It was just wonderful! A+++++!

Great Time, Great Value

We took this trip as a pre-honeymoon. This is a great place for couples. Everyone we met was either on a honeymoon or celebrating an anniversary. The hotel staff provided amazing service--especially the staff at the Italian restaurant. The food at all the restaurants exceeded our expectations. The beef, chicken, and fish were tender. The veggies were fresh. The event staff seemed to go out of their way to cater to our needs. They were funny, helpful, and courteous. We tried almost all of the daily activities. The hotel itself was clean and the in-room air conditioning worked perfectly (which is helpful, given the humidity). The hotel's beach and private location made us feel like we were at a much more exclusive resort. The pools were well maintained and the servers kept cold drinks flowing. Even though there were events at the hotel, Downtown Puerto Vallarta is only a $5 cab ride away. The only downside was the stiff bed. They put two extra pads on it and we were fine. If you prefer a softer bed, ask for the pads when you check-in and you'll be fine. We highly recommend Dreams to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation at a reasonable price.

Great Time at Dreams

My wife and I just got back and had a great time at Dreams. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I am still amazed at how they could remember us by name, everyday we were there. We enjoyed all the restraunts , and even overstayed our welcome in one of them after having dinner with some friends and enjoying the Margaritas untill they closed. The bee's are everywhere, but do not bother anyone. The bars were great, although some of the bartenders looked like they were tired. They could use some more waiters on the beach. Never felt the bed. It could have been hard as a brick. Don't remember.Had a blast releasing the turtles. Will definitly go back next year. Take plenty of sunscreen. One last thing: Do Not Book Your Adventures when booking your trip. Missed out on one due to the travel website not confirming our reservation.

Excellent!

I went with my boyfriend the last week of August, and it was way better than we expected! Checking in was really fast. All the employees were so helpful and friendly. The room was a little old but still really nice. And yes, the bed was a little hard, but everything else was perfect! The weather was beautiful. It rained every day for an hour or so around 5:00. The water was super warm, although not clear, but still really nice. The beach is great ,and since it's secluded, you don't have a million people trying to sell you stuff. All the restaurants were great! Lot's of couples on their honeymoon when we went. Met a lot of really cool, fun people! And the all inclusive is awesome! They restock your minibar with water, beer, and sodas. That was really nice. We would definitely stay again!

My husband and I stayed at Dreams Resort and Spa PVR October 14-20, 2007 for our honeymoon. We booked based on research and searching reviews on the web. Which if you have read a lot of reviews before for a trip, you'll know that they are always mixed. So we were of course nervous since we didn't receive a recommendation from someone that we know personally. With that said, We lucked out! We loved Dreams!!!!!!! LOVED LOVED LOVED it. We were really lucky because the week that we stayed the hotel was at 50% capcity. The service was top notch. X was our beach waiter and he's amazing! Very attentive, friendly and we just had a blast with him. We didn't have to wait to be seated at any of the restaurants all week. The food is amazing! Our favorite was Portifino. The food was sooo good that we went 3 times for diner during our trip. Oceana's food was also exceptional and we enjoyed gorgous view for a sunset dinner. We also enjoyed the World Cafe for most breakfasts. We liked that it was buffet style, so we could just eat and run. The buffet had a huge variety of mexican breakfast specialities, juices, fruits, pancakes, french toast, cereal, ect. We were lucky to be able to spend a few hours at the Spa. We booked a 90 minutes couples sunset massage on the deck overlooking the ocean. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is willing to spend the $. We were so relaxed after this and slept like babies that evening. We are looking forward to visiting Dreams PVR again in the future! It was an amazing honeymoon desination. We were definately sad when we had to leave & wished we had booked another week!
