This hotel is one of our favorites. We have always stayed in the main tower, but after seeing the rooms in the preferred tower, we can see why they are called preferred! They cost a little more, but are worth it...we will definitely upgrade next time we visit. We were issued $200 in "spa credit" but the coupons were broken down into smaller denominations that could not be combined. They were a gimmick to get us to spend extra money in the spa. Manicures and pedicures and facials were not includes as these were considered "beauty treatments". Basically, you could get a small discount on a massage. We left without using ANY of our "credits". Other than that, the hotel is great. The service is good, the staff friendly, the food was tasty, the drinks never stopped flowing! Room service at this resort is 24 hours and we took advantage of it regularly. The beach is BEAUTIFUL! It is a private beach that is well manicured. The vendors are courteous and take shifts on this private beach. They must be licensed and many have been working this resort for over ten years. The evening entertainment is a bit lacking, and if you are looking for wild nightclubs, I suggest taking an inexpensive cab ride into Puerto Vallarta and going to the clubs there. There is not much night life/dancing at Dreams, but it is romantic and great place to rest your head!

This was my 5 time visiting the resort. I have stayed at another all-inclusive resort in Nuevo Vallarta in the past but this was the best. If you have children you can not beat the private beach. There are rock cliffs on each side preventing anyone but hotel guest access to the beach. Each night there seems to be a different function from the guest if you decide to attend. During the day you have beach volley ball, water arobic, scuba lessons, ping-pong, black-jack etc. The staff has always been great to us even when I have been difficult to them. I have stayed in the junior suites before and it has plenty of room for a family of 4 the only thing is you do not know until you arrive if you get a king or double bed. This time we stayed in the presidential suit with an adjoining room. If you have a large party going of 8 it may be your best bet and best time. You have a priviate swimming pool with plenty of outside lounging room. Living room that could see 8 people easily. A large dining table that seats 8. and plenty of balcony space (might get lost) . We added 3 roll away beds to the room and never even noticed because the room is so large.
If you want a typical size room then the deluxe rooms are what you want. Each room has a refrigerator which is stocked daily with sodas and beer. If you do not feel like going out room service is available. Also, good gym for cardio lifters and true weight lifters.

Dreams PV has the most beautiful private beach. That means no aggressive vendors bothering you to buy crap! Very family friendly, but not intrusive for adults. Fantastic and elegant foods, great activities, beautiful environment, friendly and helpful staff, and even a DOCTOR at the resort for those that have a little too much to drink or whatever. The all-inclusive is FANTASTIC! I could not recommend Dreams any higher! Here is a tip: US currency is far more desirable than pesos in PV. Bring US dollars! The front desk will exchange the dollars for pesos as you need them and do not charge you for the exchange.

It was excellent all way around. Compared to a cruise of last year, this was by far a better deal in all areas. The staff, the facility, the all inclusive and the safety of the resort was amazing. Staff were great and helped with anything you asked about. Food, pools, scenery was absolutely fantastic. Loved it and will be going back again.

Just came from this resort ? 3 families with kids. We choose this resort because of friend?s recommendation and because of the rating and reviews. Nice vacation but not without a glitch. Hotel is very nice but small(B), beach is very good(B+), but the waves doesn?t let you enjoy the water(C+), the food is great(A- - only because we were in the Valentine Imperial where the food was top notch), Entertainment is good(B), resort lacks premium liquors and bartenders doesn?t know how to make nice drinks(B). The main pool is dirty and no one cares to clean it(C), but otherwise the territory is clean(B+). But what was a surprise is the service ? lack of it. The service is completely dependent on the tips ? tips you pay in advance! No tips ? no service. On the first day we went to Oceana restaurant. You cannot make a reservation, so we got a beeper and waited 50 minutes to be seated. When we start ordering the food and one of my friends ordered 2 appetizers, the waiter said that he is ordering TOO MUCH FOOD. We all were just shocked to hear this! After a minute of silence we asked for the manager ? the waiter took the orders and disappears - was hiding. My friend with his 10 years old daughter took a kayak ? on they way back the wave turned it upside down and the one of the plastic paddle got broke ? to our complete surprise he was charged $ for it. Should be any guests charged for broken glass or chair or paddle? Have more examples, but limit is 300 words.
