My 2 buddies and I (ages 37, 40 and 46) went for 5 days and 6 nights and had a great time. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was my first time in Cabo (and another buddy as well) and we decided to stay on the beach and it was a great idea!! The hotel was very clean and the views were awesome! We liked it so much we are going back for a full week in November!!

Enjoyed our stay but.....

The hotel is beautiful with a huge, gorgeous pool. I was dissappointed that the beds are full size. I was also very concerned that there was a large hole within the light fixture of our shower. The hole was large enough that I could see to the next level (I could see pipes, but I was concerned that someone could go up to that area and look in to the shower). We brought it to the attention of the lady that was trying to get us to go to the timeshare presentation, but nothing was done about it. It was uncomfortable taking a shower. We ate at the hotel restaurant several times. The food although pricey, was great (loved the rib-eye). The spa is awesome! The pool was great, but trying to get a waiter to take our order was like pulling teeth. We went during the "low" season and there were only a few guests at the pool at any point in time... There is a lot of pressure to go to the timeshare presentation. We finally agreed and went. Our salesperson tried and tried and we just kept saying no. He finally gave up and was not a very good sport (just rude). In summary, the hotel is beautiful, the spa is awesome, the food is great, the waiters are not great and check your shower light! Would I stay there again? YES.

Upon arrival the room was not ready, eventhough we were there at check in time. So we came back in one hour and the room was ready but the key machine was broke. The front desk said they would send someone to let us in, after 4 people tried we finally was let into our room. We had to sit outside whole time. They did not compensate us in any way, they still wanted a tip for finally opening the door. The room service was prompt but expensive, and again wanted american dollars for tips. The pool was crowded and difficult find a chair. The beach was difficult to use there was vendors everywhere you turn, trying to sell you something or to get you to go to a time share. There was not one thing you could do or ask for that they did not expected a tip.

This Hotel was good. We stayed five days. We had the Luxury suite in which we slept five peole comfortabley, 3 adults and 2 kids. Our room was on the top floor with a fantastic view of Lover's Beach and the arch. The pool was nice, but we used the pool at the sister resort Rose because there were more activicites for our kids. The pool food at Rose is good too. There is also a small deli that has food and snacks or you can walk a block to the Mega supermarket for water, juice, snacks etc. Mendano Beach is great very calm and swimable. There are several great restaurants. For nice dinners try Ediths, Alexanders, and Mi Casa. For lunch and breakfast try Baja Cantina, The Office, and Senor Sweets. Senior Sweets and Baja Cantina have good prices and big protions. Make sure if you like the night life to go to the Zoo, Giggling Marlin, Cabo Wabo, and Squid Row. The nice thing about staying at Bonito Blanco is that it is close to everything. If you walk fast the walk into the heart of the town is 10 min max or along the beach about 20min. If you are feeling lazy you can take a cab from anywhere in the town back to the hotel for $. That's not to bad if you are tired. Overall, this was a good place to stay especially with kids. Also this is the first time that I have not been hounded to bad to buy a timeshare.
