The best thing about this place is the check-in date (Monday) -- plane tickets are cheaper during the week. The pools are very nice, too.

Hotel-quality towels and bath amenities are replenished daily. Our unit, although it was only a studio, had ample storage in the closets, and came complete with a microwave, sink, two-burner stove, and a full set of dishes. (We would have liked to shop at one of the local markets and prepare our own fresh seafood dinner, but unfortunately, we found out that the town's only open-air market had closed down just before our visit!) We enjoyed our morning coffee each day out on the balcony. All but a few of the Pueblo Bonito units face the property's only pool, not the ocean. This was the one thing that I found to be a drawback. Whereas the view just outside the door of our unit was superb, overlooking the azure waters of the Sea of Cortez, it was not possible to see the ocean from the balcony.
However, if you're looking to soak up the sun in the pool area, you're in luck. Curtains shade many pairs of pink-and-white lounge chairs on the pool deck, so you can enjoy a sunny afternoon with your significant other. Roaming waiters are more than happy to bring you a drink from the poolside bar. Pay special attention to the "Happy Hours" posted, as you may end up with twice as many drinks as you really need, since the waiters usually fail to mention when the drinks are "2-for-1."
When you venture out onto Medano Beach, take advantage of the private beach area that belongs to the Rose, or to the Blanco, its sister property. The sand is pretty rocky, and therefore doesn't lend itself well to walking on, unless you're actually in the ocean. No matter where you are on the beach, you're bound to have a great view of Land's End! I highly recommend enjoying the Rose's Sunday Brunch on the Beach!

ATV in the desert is a must!! Jet ski and/or snorkel/glass bottom boat to Los Arcos. Don't miss all the sea lions playing on the rocks. Try to avoid the timeshare tour at Sunset Beach unless you have tons of time. The promised 90 minutes tour was over four hours and very high pressure to the point of being rude (and we've done many tours). Have a ball in Cabo!
