We switched hotels 2 days into our trip. All of the locals go there on the weekends, and once they leave everything on the resort closes! They even canceled all activites! There was 1 bar open and it was not 24hr, all of the restaurants were closed except the buffet. There were bugs in our room and our beds. You have to check the bed for bugs and sleep with bug spray or you will get eaten alive. The managers did not seem to care that we were unhappy either. Also you have to take a shuttle to beach. There was no clock radio in the room and no 24 hr snacks. Everything was dirty as well.
It is what it is.

My wife and I had a good time, but the front desk really needs to pick up their knowledge of the grounds. The food was consistent and good. I enjoyed the short ride you took when going to the beach, and the driver was always friendly. The rooms were clean, aside from the once in awhile spider. Drinks were good also, but I always asked for more ice just so when you got back to your lounge chair it wasn't warm. Remember to make reservations for the restaurants in the morning. We had fun, and if you do go be weiry of people who book the excurtions, the guys on the beach are better.

This place is wonderful for a budget minded person. There are plenty of activites on-site as well as off-site. The beach is awesome during the daytime and in the night the nearby disco's are the place to be. I would go back in a minute.

We stayed two years in a row at this resort. We prefer a balcony so we upgraded from the basic room. The variety of food is excellent as are the staff. The grounds are immaculate. A five minute cart ride to the beach with plenty of loungers and great food at the beach grill. The beach is long so it is great for walking, checking out the other resorts & gathering seashells. There is entertainment daily & nightly at the pool which is cleaned daily. We recommend this resort to anyone.
