My wife and I just returned from a week long stay at the Baglioni. We loved Florence and we loved the hotel, It is in a great location. Close to the shops, sites, train station, and bus tours. The staff was also great. They are very helpful and friendly. The bed was a little hard but I think that is just the way it is in Italy. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Florence. I know this is where we will stay when we return to Florence.

This is a very nice hotel for those traveling by train as it is about 100 yards away from the main station in Florence. It is a large property & our room was a delightful surprise, being large & rather elegant with wooden floors, lots of closets, & a lovely carved wooden ceiling. My only letdown here was the dining room which never seemed to be open. Our first evening it was booked for a private party & the second we got there at the wrong times & had to search elsewhere for a meal. I would definitely book here again, but would research places to eat elsewhere before arriving.

A Grand hotel in a great location with a staff that wants to make things "easier" for the traveler. Access to a parking garage and valet was wonderful. Ever drive in Florence?
