The Jolly Hotel, part of a leading Italian chain, is a reasonably classy choice of accommodation for a reasonable price. If anything, this hotel is worth staying at simply for the convenience of its location. It is literally across the street from Pisa's train station, which makes luggage transportation a breeze, and it's a 15-minute walk from the Leaning Tower. The in-house restaurant is quite nice, with some delicious specialties and fresh fruit at all times.
As for the actual rooms, I wasn't terribly impressed, but they were satisfactory overall. The decoration was decent, and I admit that I liked the ceiling-to-floor curtains, but the bed was pretty awful - all sunken on one side and generally worn. It may have just been my bad luck, though. The bathroom was also cute, with all the standard amenities. The TV selection was also quite decent, with both a movie channel and music channel in English.
As a final note, the hotel also offers a computer with Internet access in the downstairs lobby for a decent rate.
